Lazy Cake

Lazy Cake

This Lazy Cake isn’t your typical one. It’s just as fast, and just as easy. But you know me, I’m extra. This one is creamier and so much better. That’s because it’s not just dry cocoa powder and condensed milk. Its actual melted chocolate, condensed milk, and Ishta. I’m telling you, it’s worth the extra 2 minutes it’s gonna take you to melt the chocolate!

Growing up my mom always made it for us. We used to LOVE helping her crumble the cookies, and would ALWAYS sneak a couple bites of the amazing chocolate sauce. It was one of the first things she’d let us make alone. She would always tell us how it was the first thing she learned in her home ec. class.

We always had it in our freezer to serve to last minute guests, or for late midnight snacks. It’s one of my all time favorite desserts. It’s literally the easiest thing to make, and it tastes amazing! Give it a try! Plus, it’s the perfect dessert to make with your kids!

Crumbled Tea Biscuits drenched in a creamy rich chocolate sauce and then frozen and sliced. Dessert in 5 minutes. It’s so good, you’ll never let yourself, I mean your freezer, be without it.

Nur, this lazy cake recipe took me back straight to Jordan sitting in my grandparents house. It brings back so many recipes. Over the years, I keep trying different recipes to recreate the lazy cake we would have in Jordan. This is it!! This recipe is so good!! The ratio of biscuits and chocolate fudge is perfect. This is my go to recipe now. I am making it today for the second time this week, that’s how fast it was devoured in our last this week.
Thank you so much for the delicious recipe! We really appreciate it!

This makes me so happy. Nothing like the memories with grandparents. I lost my two grandmothers last year and I cherish my memories with them so much, especially through food. I’m so glad you could find comfort in my recipes. Sahtain!

I can’t believe I had this saved for so long and just now made it. It’s absolutely dreamy and I’m most excited that something so simple can be so delicious! one question, do you suggest only serving cold or frozen?

I personally prefer it frozen. You could try serving warm, but I don’t think it’s the same!
