One of the keys to enjoyable and easier cooking/baking is an organized working environment. Things go so much quicker and smoother if you’re organized and have everything you need. I found that the best way to do that is to have my pantry organized. Keep in mind that this system works for me, but it may not all work for you.
I have attached a Pantry Essentials Printable PDF that you can print out and use. I listed all the stuff I have as well as left space for you to fill in. It has space for all of your pantry items as well a slot for the container sizes. I also put a few sections for you to write out what you want to organize in baskets or bins.
Here’s everything I used to organize mine!
For my Flour, Sugar, Rice I used these large pet food containers! Oh. My. God. They are amazing. It makes my life so much easier to be able to roll them. AND I linked ones that are better and cheaper than the ones I have. They come with an extra container AND a scoop inside. I had to purchase mine separately. I promise you these are a steal. They may seem a little expensive, but they’ll probably last you a lifetime! AND they have them in a ton of colors! The large container fits 25lbs of flour or sugar and the large bag of rice from Costco! I don’t have the smaller ones, but I imagine you can use them for so much! Heres the link to the containers.
With the OXO containers, you have options. You can purchase them in a set (which is what I did). Or you can purchase them individually. I recommend you start off with a set and add on individual pieces that you need. I had bought them from Costco, but they only have them around the holidays. They are such a steal when they have them. You can also find them in HomeGoods or Bed Bath and Beyond but I find Amazon to be just as cheap! Here’s the links to various options:
They are pricey, but once again, you’ll never have to replace them. Costco will bring them every once in a while and put a coupon on them and they are SO affordable when they do.
For my cereal containers, Amazon is the way to go. They are the same price as I’ve seen them anywhere else! I’m also gonna link the OXO ones even though I like the Rubbermaid ones more!
All of the Lidded Containers I use to store my snacks I bought off Amazon. I’m constantly shuffling snacks in here so I have them in various sizes. Here are links to a few that I have. I have the large ones for fruit snacks and granola bars, as well as the medium and small ones. I bought them in larger packs because I also used them to organize my medicine cabinet and bathrooms.
I’m also gonna link some of the turntable options for you. There are some compartmentalized ones that I LOVE, but I already had mine so I just used what I had.
You can find these EVERYWHERE. I love these specific ones because of the grips they have so stuff doesn’t slide around when you rotate them. Plus they’re pretty cheap compared to other options.
Here are some options for the bins that I store my oils and vinegar in. I also use them for stuff like hot cocoa packets or kids applesauce. I bought mine from HomeGoods, but here are some options for similar ones on Amazon. I also linked a few basket options for chips and cookies. You can get these ANYWHERE. I don’t think you should spend a lot on them. You just want something to contain the items. I got mine from HomeGoods, but here are similar ones. I’m gonna put links for cheaper ones as well as some of the nicer ones.
Here are some links for the can risers:
For the Spice Jars, Target is the absolute cheapest. I’m pretty sure Walmart is too, but I haven’t been able to find them cheaper anywhere else.

Here are links to the labels. This is the cheapest I’ve found them anywhere! I also linked the labels for the large rolling containers. I also have a pack of these paint pens. They are awesome for labeling the containers that you’re constantly shuffling because they wash off. I don’t recommend them for the jars because they rub off if they get wet.
Last but not least here are the links to the baskets I used for storing potatoes and onions. I also linked the tray holder as well as grocery bag holder.
If you made it all the way down here, YAY! Happy Organizing. Please share my page and instagram and remember to tag me in your organized pantry photos!
